The KenReg Rafikis Curry Lunch – Wednesday 22nd., September, 2021
VENUE: Victory Services Club, 63-79, Seymour Street, London, W2 2HF – Tel: 0207 723 4474
- This communication has resulted from a great deal of thought which has included feedback received from a significant number of Members contacted (my thanks to everyone involved and apologies to those not contacted).
- There is still a general interest in having a UK reunion, but to arrange the event with any certainty is challenging, due to not being able to confirm exact numbers, which obviously has an impact on the cost and type and location of a venue.
- The outcome is, I have decided that I will make this my last effort to organise the UK KenReg Rafikis curry lunch reunion.
- The decision has not been taken without a fair amount of thinking about how to maintain the event to everyone’s satisfaction and wishes.
- It also involves my wishes to take every advantage of travelling, which will involve being away for long periods.
- I have therefore moved the booking at The Victory Services Club, London, to Wednesday, 22nd., September, 2021.
- The usual format (Gentlemen - Jacket and Ties) and times (1200 hrs to 15.30 hrs) from previous occasions to apply.
- The menu consists of a choice of three curries, with assortments, fruit salad desert, tea and coffee.
- The cost will be £38.00 per head, based on 50 attending. This is the same cost as 2019.
- This hopefully, gives everyone more time to plan for a worthwhile gathering and reassurance it will be safe to do so.
- May I take this opportunity of thanking John Davis and Eugene Armour for their wise counsel and support.
- Eugene has again kindly offered to circulate the Information Sheet and Booking Form.
- My thanks, also, to all of you that have supported the event over the past few years.
- Please look out for further details, to be mailed in due course.
- If you might require other information, please do not hesitate to email me – J_Harman@msn.com or telephone on +44(0)7803 281357.
- Keep well and stay safe.
- Salaams
